Spring Time Fun

We are really enjoying the warmer weather because we can get back outside. James decided to run track again and excelled at shorter distances and long jump. His favorite running events are the 100m and 200m. My boys showing their tough side. Hanging out with the mighty Mississippi in the background. Park time is fun time!  The boys enjoy taking Cora down the slide. My precious kids!  I love this picture! School is out for the summer already too so we will lots of time outside. Eli's preschool learned about Saints and the kids performed their music for us dressed as their favorite Saint.  It was very enjoyable. Eli at his school field day.  Batman!!! James' school also had a very fun field day. My boys building forts and demonstrating  their awesome architectural skills. Can you see James? Cora has learned how to play peek-a-boo which is so fun. We are really enjoying these littles ones!

Fast as the Flash

The boys have a need for speed!  Recently James and Eli built Pine Wood derby cars to compete in the James' Boy Scout troop. In the beginning... We did some scholarly research to prepare.  Thank you YouTube! My step-dad, AKA Pawpaw was a big help and taught James to use power tools. Sanding is always fun! James designed and built his car with minimal assistance. Spray paint is always fun. Added weights to make it as heavy as the rules allowed. The finished products! The race was a lot of fun! James didn't win but he worked really hard and was really proud of his car. While his derby car wasn't the fastest, James was the fastest in a recent track race.  My future Olympic sprinter!   Zoom zoom zoom

And James started 2nd grade!   And Elias started preschool. Cora discovered the joys of playing at the park. September  The Cape County fair arrived!    Boys loved the bumper cars. James proved to be quite the bull rider! And we enjoyed the River Day Festival too. Fall is football season.  James enjoyed his first season of flag football. James has also enjoyed Boy Scouts this year. School days- highlight is getting everyone home. Nothing says Fall like football.  James likes to sit and read on quiet Sunday afternoons. October We enjoyed athe beautiful Fall colors here. Love this boy! Happy Halloween Pumpkins! Green lantern and Robin Flash and Green lantern / Batman / Superman. The cutest little pumpkin! My fierce littl...
