Almost Christmas!

Christmas is almost here - let the count down begin.  James asks almost daily if it's Christmas!  It is sure an exciting time around our house! The monthly picture of the boys - they are getting so big!  It's hard to believe that Eli is soon one!   My boys take a break and play on the computer together. Eli enjoyed his first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  It's one of my favorite TV programs and I love watching it Thanksgiving morning. Tobias making some tasty side dishes for our Thanksgiving meal.  We celebrated Thanksgiving with 2 other families and it was a very fun day! Eli and I are excited about all the delicious food on Thanksgiving. Eli enjoyed Thanksgiving leftovers - especially the ham.  My future architect or maybe engineer!  James and Tobias love to build things together. Another one of James' creation at school - a car made with feathers, toilet paper tube, and construction paper.  Jame...

Fall is Here!

James enjoyed a great birthday and Halloween celebration with my roommate from the Academy and her husband! This is a bit late as winter is almost here!  Here are some great pictures from our Fall adventures - including the local county fair, attending a friend's wedding, a trip to Florida, and Halloween.  My Halloween Dynamic Duo - Batman and Robin! James loves to "read."  He loves all super heroes.   Me and the boys going for a walk! While in Florida we enjoyed a wonderful visit with Grandpa and Grandma Sunshine! The remnants of Hurricane Sandy were still in Jacksonville.  We didn't actually venture on to the beach, but we were close enough to watch the waves. Aunt Teri and James baked special birthday cupcakes that James was able to share them with his classmates. Tasty birthday cupcakes - they were multicolored with sprinkles on top!  Delish! Getting ready for the big corn maze - Tobias was our navigato...

Happy 5th Birthday, James!

Where has the time gone?  James Douglas Walters is now 5 years old.  What joy he brought to our lives in 5 years!  To celebrate his birthday we took a Disney Cruise.  JillMama, Aunt Pat, Cousin Tisha, Aunt Teri, Elias, and I were all there to celebrate James' birthday with him.  Unfortunately, Tobias wasn't able to make it due to work commitments - but we had a great time.  Daddy will definitely join us for the next cruise though! James and JillMama on the ship ready for the big cruise!   There was so much to do onboard - even play Foosball on the 13th deck! Aunt Pat and Elias ready to set sail! Birthday breakfast in Nassau, Bahamas. Enjoying the Toy Story room onboard - so cool! There were 2 water slides onboard and James loved them both! Happy birthday wishes from Donald! Handsome birthday boy! Birthday cake - tasty, tasty, tasty! And an ice cream sundae - 2 desserts for the birthday boy! ...

Boys will be Boys!

We really enjoy our boys!  I just never know what type of excitement the day will bring.  These guys sure know how to make life fun! It's wonderful to have such a terrific role model for my boys.  Tobias is such a great dad!  Not to mention, a great looking husband! Monthly photo of the boys with their bears. FaceTime with family.  Technology is a great way to keep us in touch with family far away. Now that Eli is more interactive, the boys really enjoy play time. Play time with Daddy! Look who's crawling! You can tell how proud he is to be standing up!   It's fun to see what type of things Eli enjoys.  He's a total gear head! James had a party at school to celebrate the new academic year.  They made special hats for the day. Eli was excited for the big day at school too! James is now a Dolphin at his preschool.  Here he is with his new teacher.  He's at the same school, but in a dif...
