Spring Forward!

Having fun and waiting for the warm weather. James loves his helicopter. Here he is playing with his pilots doing rescue missions. Football is still James' favorite thing! Happy boy! James and his good buddy walking through the zoo. Such nice boys. Football, football all the time! It's a bit hard to play football when your mom just wants to take pictures instead of play with you. =) Yummy! Strawberries!! Deep in thought. Look at this little guy - so sweet.

Family Update

We've enjoyed a quiet February. Uncle Josh painted our bathroom for us and James was his little helper. James enjoyed a Valentine's Day Party at his school. Everyone had a cupcake and some candy. Yummy! We went to the park with James' friend, Lyla, and her mommy. Lyla is about 7 months younger than James. I liked the water fountain picture because of the height difference - Lyla is a cute, petite little girl and James is a nice tall boy! James has enjoyed playing with his 'new' digital camera (my old one). Look at that happy boy! Mommy and James in their Sunday best. James looking super nice in his tie - that he picked out by himself actually. The highlight of our month is hearing from Daddy. Here are some of Daddy's adventures in Costa Rican rain forest . The top picture shows him on a zip line. Look at how high he is above the canopy.

Living the Good Life

A quick relaxing stop in the Cars couch before heading off to school. I thought this was so funny. Bandit apparently thinks James should share some of that food all over his face. Breakfast anyone? Such a big boy feeding himself. Yummy yogurt! James showing his love of technology. He's so tech savvy! James got a new Cars couch for Christmas. Here he is lounging with his bear and some snacks watching Cars. Mommy's new favorite book! By the way - check out those feet! Tobias' younger brother, Josh, is living with us. He moved in a couple of weeks ago. The highlight for James is having someone teach him some more football skills. Like most toddlers, James loves to run! Fast, fast, fast! Check out this action shot. James may be a kicker some day!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from James! James, Bandit, and I are enjoying our Christmas tree and are looking forward to opening up our gifts on Christmas morning. One of the best parts about Christmas this year is that Aunt Teri is back! While I was at work earlier this week James and Aunt Teri made a ginger bread house together. It looks super yummy! To help get us in the Christmas spirit we went to Sea World with our friends. James always has a blast playing with those two kids. Believe it or not, but James is actually the youngest kid in that picture by about 2 months. James really enjoyed Sea World. Here he is with the manatees. When we got back from Orlando we found a package from Grandpa and Grandma Walters in Kansas. There was a special Broncos football hat in there that James was really excited about. One of the best things about Christmas is family time. This afternoon we took advantage of the time off and went to the park to play. You can see how much James enjoyed the park! Fe...

Trip to Minnesota

We spent the last few days visiting family in Northern Minnesota. It was a lot of fun for everyone, especially James, who had the opportunity to play in the snow for the first time. Here's James helping to sweep off the front steps! Such a big helper! James also enjoyed exploring the beautiful outdoors. James really enjoyed this little bridge. I think we walked across it about fifty times! After playing outside, James' Great-Aunt Tootsie was waiting inside with cookies and milk! Yummy! Another highlight of the trip was the opportunity to see my dad, Grandpa Mel, in Minnesota. My dad was there for business the first part of the trip and we met up for the last half of the trip. Here's Grandpa Mel introducing James to a Norweigan delight, leftsa. One of the neatest things about this trip was to visit the Walters farmstead. James was the 5th generation Walters on this farm that was settled by my ancestors. Here is James riding his first tractor. He makes a great farmer...
