We made it out to Kansas on Sunday afternoon and are having a great visit. The weather here is pretty different than what we're used to, but we're making the most of things. We celebrated New Years at home with Tobias' family, although we didn't make it past 10pm! I hope everything is going well for all of you.
The FL family still tries to pretend we can handle this cold weather. In reality we're wearing about twice as much clothing as the rest of Tobias' family!

The boys have a need for speed! Recently James and Eli built Pine Wood derby cars to compete in the James' Boy Scout troop. In the beginning... We did some scholarly research to prepare. Thank you YouTube! My step-dad, AKA Pawpaw was a big help and taught James to use power tools. Sanding is always fun! James designed and built his car with minimal assistance. Spray paint is always fun. Added weights to make it as heavy as the rules allowed. The finished products! The race was a lot of fun! James didn't win but he worked really hard and was really proud of his car. While his derby car wasn't the fastest, James was the fastest in a recent track race. My future Olympic sprinter!
