We decided to take a weekend family vacation up to Pennsylvania to visit friends and see some sights. We decided to make a quick stop in Hershey, PA!
They have a new attraction where you can create your own candy bar.
James caught on quickly and is quite the chocolatier.
Adding the ingredients of his choice.
Watching his bar being made!
The finished product! Yummy!
James loved the Hershey Chocolate Factory.
What good looking guys I have!
Mommy and Daddy steal a kiss.
We also attended the Woolly Worm Festival in Lewisburg, PA. James loved the animals and had a great time feeding them.
There were goats, cows, and pigs.
The boys have a need for speed! Recently James and Eli built Pine Wood derby cars to compete in the James' Boy Scout troop. In the beginning... We did some scholarly research to prepare. Thank you YouTube! My step-dad, AKA Pawpaw was a big help and taught James to use power tools. Sanding is always fun! James designed and built his car with minimal assistance. Spray paint is always fun. Added weights to make it as heavy as the rules allowed. The finished products! The race was a lot of fun! James didn't win but he worked really hard and was really proud of his car. While his derby car wasn't the fastest, James was the fastest in a recent track race. My future Olympic sprinter!
