Major May Mahem!

If my family were flip-flops!

If my family were Lego men!
Elias loves to play outside and has a little tractor that he zooms around our yard!
James had a picnic at school and all parents were invited.  Tobias and I both attended and it so special!

James' track team photo.
Wiggly bunch of kids though!  Haha!

We spent a wonderful Mother's Day weekend in Florida.
Elias found a new way to get around on Grandpa Sunshine's walker.
The boys always fun with Grandpa and Grandma Sunshine.
And, of course, we just had to visit the Jacksonville Zoo.
Time for a family picture.
We had a lot of fun on the beach.  James loved to boogie board.
Elias woke me up really early one morning so we watched a beautiful sunrise over the water.
Enjoying our sunrise walk.
Zoo time!
Love this one!
Those eyes are just too sweet!
We went to Florida specifically to have Elias dedicated at the church we attended in Jacksonville.  It was a very special day for us.
No one could believe how much James has grown.  This is the same church were he was dedicated as an infant.
Our sweet boy!
He's obviously very happy about being a Baptist!
Ready to take on the world now!
Messy little eater, but he sure does love pasta with sauce!
Love this picture.  James was reading quietly on the floor.  Apparently Elias thought James looked lonely and jumped on his back for some cuddles!
James and Elias playing preschool.
The boys and some friends at a party.  Such a sweet bunch and James is always so good to include his baby brother.

So enjoy your posts. It's so good to see that James is so loving to his baby brother. Elias is growing and changing so fast.

Fast as the Flash

The boys have a need for speed!  Recently James and Eli built Pine Wood derby cars to compete in the James' Boy Scout troop. In the beginning... We did some scholarly research to prepare.  Thank you YouTube! My step-dad, AKA Pawpaw was a big help and taught James to use power tools. Sanding is always fun! James designed and built his car with minimal assistance. Spray paint is always fun. Added weights to make it as heavy as the rules allowed. The finished products! The race was a lot of fun! James didn't win but he worked really hard and was really proud of his car. While his derby car wasn't the fastest, James was the fastest in a recent track race.  My future Olympic sprinter!   Zoom zoom zoom

M-I-C-K-E-Y and a bunch of other fun stuff

Everyone grab their Mickey Ears!  We just returned from a wonderful vacation to Walt Disney World.  We flew down to FL from MA, my sister and her beautiful family and my aunt and cousin all flew from CA, and my mom traveled from MO!   All 11 of us stayed in one beautiful villa right on the Walt Disney property and had a great time. We celebrated JillMama's 60th birthday in style.   We also celebrated my nephew's 2nd birthday while in WDW! Everyone had a great time! We celebrated Halloween a little early at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!   Can you tell we're the Avengers!?!  Eli was the Incredible Hulk, Tobias was Tony Stark (AKA Iron Man), James was Captain America, and I was Black Widow. By the end of the night, the Incredible Hulk was done, but still really cute! Gabe (age 4) and James got along great! Elias and Gavin (also 2) were fast friends too. Fun times on a ride with my little man! Rrrr Matey!  ...

Winter in Boston

Happy February!  I can't believe I haven't updated since November when we've had such an exciting couple of months!   Our Lego family for Christmas 2014 designed by James!  There are a lot of firsts and developmental milestones in first grade!  James finished his first chapter book over the Christmas break!  So proud of him - he is reading above grade level. James also remains very active with track and is working with his gym teacher to start a running club at his elementary school! This was a fun assignment for the entire family.  Once he completed the assignment, James presented it to his class. We did family Christmas pictures this year with a great photographer.  We met at Minute Man National Park - where Paul Revere was captured- and had fun taking pictures together.  I worked the night before and it was cold out, but the pictures still turned out great! The 2014 Walters Family Christmas picture! My two cuti...
