Introduction to James, Elias, and Cora

Happy Mother's Day from Boston!  The weather is (finally) pleasant and we are hoping for a lot of time spent outside after a long winter!  Here's an update on things from the past couple months! I just loved this board from James' school. My little poet! Cutie pie! Tobias has been really busy lately.  For his Spring Break he took a trip to CA with his classmates and they toured several companies, including Tesla.  Here's Tobias with one of the super cool electric car he saw! While MIT is certainly demanding - Tobias always makes time for Lego's with the boys. I volunteered through the American Red Cross at the Boston Marathon as a medical volunteer.   I was stationed at a water station and here's my view - before the race actually started. Six years ago today our little miracle became legally part of our family.  We now celebrate this special day with a focus on the entire family.    My little miracles just chillin' together! This is my life now - I have 3 students.  Eli attends preschool at MIT 2 days a week.  James continues to love his kindergarten class.  Tobias is also enjoying his studies. For MLK Jr day the kids in James' class wrote their own dreams.  James' dream is "My family are having a picnic."  Guess which one is me?  Love the curls! Last weekend we tried ice skating for the first time.  Fun way to spend the day but don't expect to see any of us in the 2018 Winter Olympics! Happy New Year!  2014 has been a busy year so far, but thing are going really well.  We started off 2014 with a traditional New Year's dinner of cornbread (gold), collard greens (dollars), black eyed peas (luck), and fried chicken (because it tastes good).  We also made special New Years cookies, basically a donut that the boys really enjoy.  It's a special tradition we all look forward to.  There has been a lot of snow here in Boston and some chilly days.  We try to be creative with ways to enjoy our inside time though. TV time - always fun! Why share when each kid can use a different tablet?!  Of course we don't always stay inside - we just have to bundle up warmly for outside time.
