2015 Year in Review

My goal is to update the blog every month.  Clearly, I've missed that goal this year.  In an effort to make up for those missed posts, I'll try to do a recap.   August We enjoyed a family trip to KS and enjoyed the county fair. And James started 2nd grade!   And Elias started preschool. Cora discovered the joys of playing at the park. September  The Cape County fair arrived!    Boys loved the bumper cars. James proved to be quite the bull rider! And we enjoyed the River Day Festival too. Fall is football season.  James enjoyed his first season of flag football. James has also enjoyed Boy Scouts this year. School days- highlight is getting everyone home. Nothing says Fall like football.  James likes to sit and read on quiet Sunday afternoons. October We enjoyed athe beautiful Fall colors here. Love this boy! Happy Halloween Pumpkins! Green lantern and Robin Flash and Green lantern / Batman / Superman. The cutest little pumpkin! Christmas 2015

Merry Christmas from the Walters Family!  This year we are spending Christmas in Missouri.  We are happy to share with you all how we celebrated Christmas 2015. Mommy and her little Elf's decorated the tree. The tree!  So many wonderful gifts for everyone! All ready for Mass.  This year we attended Midnight Mass (actually at midnight) so we could hear my mom and her choir.  It was a lovely service and the kids were great sports about being woken up in the middle of the night. Thankful for my wonderful family. My dad flew in from California to spend Christmas with us this year too.   Cora's favorite presents - Jingle Bells!   Modeling his new robe and slipper! It was a Star Wars Christmas around here.   Darth Vader and his Storm Trooper! It was a magical Christmas morning with these three precious kids. Elias is so excited with his new camera.   Our baby girl enjoyed Christmas this year.   ...

Our new arrival!

James and Eli proudly announce the arrival of their baby sister, Cora Violet! Arriving just 2 weeks early, Cora Violet, was born 3/2/15 at 4:10am.   Proud Mama!  It was a fast (2.5 hours from first contraction to delivery) but uncomplicated. Proud Dad!  Tobias was a great birth coach and was so happy to meet his baby girl. Proud big brothers!  James and Eli visited the hospital about 12 hours after Cora was born and were so happy to meet her. The boys gave Cora her first super hero sticker too!   Sweet little hand! Sweet little feet! Eli's school even posted a special announcement for him!  Both boys were able to bring in pictures to show their friends. My mom flew in just hours after Cora's birth to help with the boys.  It was wonderful to have her here! Time to go home! Cora's first car ride! The boys were very excited and James even created this card for Cora. To celebrate her birth we made a spe...
